Resility seeks to inspire women to live an empowered well-being by creating space to focus on what matters, while gaining the resilience to sustain it.
It can’t be that simple… of course it can.
It is just that simple, but it’s not easy.
I will help you achieve a higher level of well-being and performance through visioning, preparation, action, and results that will lead to sustainable change.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know God’s will for you…”
Romans 12:2

Hi! I’m Teresa
So many of us are striving; we’re striving to have and we’re striving to do. And as time passes, we become less mindful of and blinded to how far off the path we’ve traveled.
My wellness journey of balancing motherhood, marriage, a career, and learning to navigate life to show up as my best self l needed a transformation. It’s almost as if I had abandoned my true identity; defaulting to survivor mode or wondering where we fit in, in the big scheme of it all.
But then I finally caught a glimpse, we were not created to pursue endless lists of to-do items, live in the shadows of others while denying our true selves, or be swooped up into a whirlwind of behaviors, practices, and actions that lack focus, intention, and purpose. I was doing it all wrong and many of you probably are too.
“The key to living intentionally is to simplify life and focus on what matters.”
I have always held a high regard for holistic well-being. Experiencing challenges of my own, physically, mentally, and emotionally increased an undeniable desire and need to understand what it means to live in wellness. “What is God’s plan for my well-being?” “What does it look like to pursue wellness and live well?” This desire led me to a deep conversation and surrender. The next step led me to enroll at Health Coach Institute (HCI) in 2017 where I earned my first certification in Health & Wellness and Life Coaching. This journey began with a hyper-focus on self-awareness and personal growth.
“I have had some rich life experiences and have made some not-so-good choices and I love them all the same.”
As I continued to engage with the psychology of Health and Wellness coaching and the support offered through the wellness theories and models, it didn’t take long before I was hit with a flow of resounding absolute thoughts.
“We need to know this!”
“Women should know this!”
“Why don’t we know this?!”
For the past 4 years, I’ve led the wellness efforts at Jenny Craig, as the Center Director and Coach. This was an impactful opportunity as I got to encourage, support, and walk alongside clients helping them achieve their goals!
Before this endeavor, I worked in the corporate arena in the fields of Human Resources, Legal, and Contract Administration. These roles further fostered a desire to pursue wellness for myself and to help others be encouraged to do the same.
After completing my Certification through HCI in 2022, I began the process of launching my practice offering 1-1, group coaching, and workshops to help women achieve fulfillment through, self-awareness, self-discipline, and personal development.
As a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness coach, my coaching method promotes client autonomy and development using:
Positive Psychology
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) &
Motivation Interviewing (MI) Principles
